This game has great potential. The graphics are wonderful, the combat is fluid and entertaining. But the game ultimately fails when it crashes in the worst possible moments. There are many instances where the game crashes during boss battles, often right as you defeat them. The result being that you now have to fight them again, only for the game to crash If not, there are other, better games out there you can spend your time on. It’s first person combat with the dodge, block and swipe to attack gameplay.
Upper half of screen horizontal swipes for weapon attack and bottom half kicks. You’re allowed 5 hits after a successful dodge. You get mana for doing things like dodging and then can activate a skill combo. I like the sounds of the story and the battle mechanics in this game. So why only one star you might ask? Because my option is only from the very beginning. Every time, just when I beat the first boss, the game crashes. I play on an updated iPad 3, meaning it’s not my iPad, but the actual game.
I’ll be more than willing to give this game more stars, when it stops crashing and I can actually play. Although, I know I’m not the only one with the crashing problem and the last update was sometime in the summer. I play this game a lot because it’s fun and challenging but there’s one problem: at some certain points, after defeat a character and press continue, it would crash and I would have to log on on Game Center again.
