It is quite fun to play, but it can’t really compare to StarCraft or Total Annihilation. Another sad fact is that the game doesn’t really have anything to do with the movie, except for the WOPR and the names of some characters. Hoping for gaming themes such as thermonuclear warfare, I ended up with a mediocre real-time strategy game RTS , with mediocre gameplay.
To top it off, it has very little in common with the movie. A cut-scene taking the form of a commercial from Protovision kicks off the game, which, unfortunately, gives no information pertaining to the story of the game.
