I have shrieking sounds coming from all over the place. This is thee most bizarre thing I’ve ever played. Unfinished product lots of glitched and bugs. The developer flat out said don’t even buy the game. Avoid this at all costs. First, yes, there is women in this game, and it isn’t true to history.

Seriously ask yourself that question, did you buy battlefield 1, 2, 3, 4, and saying “I’m gonna learn today! If you want solid shooting mechanics, really fun game play, and a really short learning curve to get you in the groove faster when compared to the other Battlefield games, then this game is for you! I honestly thought I would hate this game, the crappy advertising campaign this game got gives it a bad name and talking bad about BFV is what’s “in”. But ignore the haters, do your research, and you will find that this Battlefield is indeed the best Battlefield to date.

I became addicted within the first 2 hours, and I found my place in this game as a support role machine gunner. I usually rock the medic class but the new mechanics of the support role, made me fall more towards that class. Now, I find myself playing this game over anything else I bought almost every new shooter this season due to its addictive game play. Usually I have trouble picking up a new battlefield, and this game just fit me, and now I can’t stop thinking about it and playing it.

So let’s talk about the negatives. I have a monster PC Ryzen 7 and a ti and I am sad to say that I need to lower my setting to achieve a fps above , which I did not have to do on BF1. It looks a little better than BF1 but not by much which, to me, does not make sense on why this game requires more muscle from my PC.

There only 8 maps released I played all the maps within 4 hours, and pretty much memorized all the good spots. Hence the “honeymoon” phase ended quickly, and now entering a map seems old. I know more content will be released, but the game does feel incomplete, considering that every time I play it I want more due to it’s addictive game play. Are these negatives enough for me to remove a star? Lowering the settings, I noticed no real noticeable difference in it’s overall graphical look and even though the maps seem old to me now I still jump in to play and lead newer players in my group to the best spots.

In conclusion, I wanted to jump on the hate bandwagon of this game, but before I do I wanted to play it to see how bad it could be. The media could not be loaded. I was sorely disappointed in how heavily progression based this game is for your loadout. I started playing a few weeks after release and the game was unplayable, everyone else was geared to the teeth and killing me with 2 shots. I could have used real money to purchase better options, but frankly I am done with this style of game progression.

This latest iteration of BF is not the best one. The maps have little cover and are rather dull, there is not much team balancing, too much political correctness. Weapons and customization are shallow. Game modes are either what we have seen or gimmicks, not practical. Example, Breakthrough, apparently lasts many days but who is around to know who will win many days from now?

Regualr multiplayer is really active but if your looking to play firestorm it’s not as active but you’ll still be able to find a match. Received a code in an official case.

Entered it in Origin, activated and downloaded my game. All good! This is the best Battlefield game. You can’t spot an enemy so easily anymore, which is more realistic. False advertising. Item is used and code had already been redeemed. Unable to download the game.

The Battlefield series has a winning formula that Battlefield V doesn’t deviate far from, at least for now. Conquest and the map roster don’t mesh well together, however, Grand Operations–and the other modes within it–steal the show and foster some of the greatest moments the franchise has offered.

Battlefield V successfully delivers expectations from gameplay perspective. The new featured Grand Operations mod and War Stories are great. But releasing with only 8 maps and lack of content is also concerning.
