Jun 29, Thank you for all this. The problem seems to be a conflict with Razer Cortex. If I exit Razer Cortex before launching, the game launches successfully. This is regardless of whether Razer Cortex’s ‘Boost’ is turned on, and the other Razer apps Central and Synapse can be left running. I don’t know it at all, but I guess check for updates to it from Razer. Razer Cortex’s main function is to ‘Boost’ when running games, which is to temporarily close processes, stop unnecessary services and tweak the system to increase performance.
