Since at least version 6, JavaScript can be disabled using the preferences menu [45] and embedded URLs that are launched are intercepted by a security warning dialog box to either allow or block the website from activating. Alternatively, if the software is to remain incompatible with my pc, I am hopeful that Adobe will provide me with a commensurate Acrobat that is compatible with my PC and OS. Administrator privileges are required to install Adobe software.❿
