It’s been working great since. As of 2 weeks ago, I started noticing the LEFT EAR cutting out completely while gaming Where no audio comes out at all , and then the audio comes back after 20 seconds or so.
This obviously isn’t really usable at this point, and effects not only my gameplay, but my enjoyment of watching videos and listening to music. I opened a ticket with Razer support. Its been almost a week now, and I haven’t heard from anyone regarding this. I’m trying to use the Product Warranty that comes with this product, and yet i’m getting zero response from Razer.
That is why i’m giving it 1 star. I’d suggest going Sennheiser. I’ll be purchasing a new headset shortly. A couple of my friends use sennheiser and swear by them. Solid headsets, worth the extra money. Report abuse. I bought these for my partner to use with his Xbox and his phone and they work really well.
No issues so far and they do an excellent job with noise cancellation. The black is crisp with no excessive parts. The retractable mic is a really nice feature. In terms of size and fit, I dislike how thick they are. The ear cups are a little too round as they touch the edges of my ears, so if you have bigger ears then these might not be for you. Because of their closed back nature they do get hot and uncomfortable over time so my partner tends to use these in 8 hour bursts.
Great for extended gaming session but all the time use. En lo personal estoy contento con mi compra. Aunque existen headsets, con una mejor calidad de sonido por el mismo precio o similar. Windows Sonic. In-line volume controls. Amazon Music Stream millions of songs. Amazon Advertising Find, attract, and engage customers. Allows high volume, you can increase background audio and change where the sound is coming from with ease. I decided to give this app a go and I was happy with it but the only problem I encountered is whenever I tried to open the lyrics of the song I play, the app crashes. Apart from that I am happy with the app.
There is no subscription needed for basic use of the app and there is also a sleep timer. I really recommend this one! For me this app brings out the true meaning of the music I love. The sound is clear with the bass deep without annoying distortion. Please fix this.
On approaching the support team they have no fix to this bug and simply sending me emails saying we are still investigating. By far one of the better quality music playing apps Easy to use interface with a very notable change in audio quality. I checked to see what happened and it said song limit reached.
When I got this app, it never told me about a song limit. This is just stupid. This app is definitely my go-to music app, however there is one area that bugs me; the music library doesn’t recognize different discs. This is simple enough to fix in the up next part, but it is quite annoying. I really like this app and I bought boom 3D for Mac, also want to use this in iOS devices, but I prefer not to purchase twice.
So hope I can use this app for full features. And the app will remain on the last navigate position of the albums, rather start from the top. Can you fix this bug? We need car play!!! I would consider buying the full version if this was rectified. I recently purchased this app after being advertised in a tech magazine. However I must admit it’s not worth the money. When the bass kicks in the artists sound goes down.
I’ve a beats headphone and same music sounds great on the default music app on iPhone. Used be amazing but they must have changed the formula or something because now every song sounds distorted and terrible quality :.
This would be a fantastic app if it had the volume control. Every time i open this app, either it is frozen, slow, buggy, or some pop up comes asking to update or buy their radio subscription. Great sound enhancement Why should I pay more for the premium pack or a yearly subscription? The developer is getting greedy. No reply from app support.
How should this be fixed? Thank you. Skips tracks constantly. Library and radio ok but Tidal was the big draw. If this was fixed it would be good. I bought the Mac version – really good but paid a single price.
So why do I have to pay a subscription for the mobile version?? Forget it. Does exactly as described Added Boom2 to my mac book pro as well. I use this software for few years. But recently it will cause headphone bass crack. I think it could be damage the headphone movable diaphragm. Sign Up! This is a really good app but it needs more compatible features, especially with spotify.
You should be able to download your spotify music library onto the app for better offline usage. Other than that the app is really good. I liked it, but after the recent update. I will reconsider giving this app a better review.
If they fix this problem. How do you get the effects pack because I have 1 year premium subscription can you still get all the new packs with subscription or do you have to cancel the subscription in order to the packs. Seems super cool but can’t use with Apple Music so there’s no point. I wish it would be compatible with Apple Music – the whole reason I downloaded it – however I do like how it sorta my music into genre.
Some songs are out in completely wrong genres though. Could use some work :. I paid Lifetime for an app that gave me access to Apple Music and Spotify, now nothing. I used to like the app, I could use my Spotify to connect and listen to music, now when I returned to the app, Spotify wasn’t an option and I couldn’t search anything within Boom.
I was disappointed to see this change and I hope the Spotify option will return soon. The only complaint I have is that the static in the background of a song is MUCH more noticeable, to the point I can constantly hear it for every song I listen to. Horrible app. The music organization is also awful: want to listen to your favourite artist? To listen to an album you have to back out and go to albums then search for the album name and then play it – in between all the loud ads and videos.
I would never pay for the premium app when they force ads through your music to coerce you into getting the paid version. Man your iq is lownto think I will buy premium, and you’re not actually thinking a 4 yr old would have the money to buy premium,I am a nine year old who is the smarted in my class, so I do not recommend to download. This app is awsome percent would recommend this app its free and not a scam. If you add that then this app would be the absolute best of the best!
I used to use this app 5 years ago, and I bought the lifetime listening pass. I just got introduced to your app. This is an amazing breakthrough app.
I hope you get more platforms to support what you are doing. My headphone listening experience just skyrocketed. When I first opened up Boom app I was genuinely impressed by its presention. And with good reason Best app in its class, and best BANG for your buck, too. Even tho I have paid for this application I’m still getting advertising posts. Had this for a couple of years and enjoyed-it with my collection of music. So I will be unsubscribing until they are offering this with Amazon HD.
Is there any update as to when it could be available? I bought this thinking it would improve my Spotify sound on my iPhone as it does on my MacBookPro but I was somewhat disappointed when I started using it on the iPhone and realized the equalizer on the Spotify app produces better sound than this app. This is making my music sound awesome!!! But would like to be able to link with SoundCloud too. Good app, but keep earring popping when listening to tidal on iPhone.
Also, mixer good but it lack a precise sound control. Refuses to play music I have an 11 Pro that works just fine. You need to fix your app before you continue charging your customers.
I just installed it, and it tried to get me to pay right away, so I tried to get the free trial but every time it pops up it just freezes and the app is impossible to use.
I try to transfer music that I have on my phone through the files app but there is no Boom folder I can only do it through the boom music only one file at the time and instead of file names I get a bunch of numbers is there a solution for this Thank you!!!!!!
This is amazing!! But if you could maybe make the Spotify work without premium would be better.. Why add different music options if your not even able to access the music on those platforms? It basically makes the app useless if I’m going to be honest here. Found this app to be buggy and unreliable a lot of the time. Sometimes the songs just freeze halfway and when I go and close the app and re open it and click play it just starts skipping through all the music I have and then gives me the 10 song limit.
Makes me very mad, I feel like the developers put that glitch there on purpose to make people pay for the premium with no song limit. Also, as the developer said in another persons comment about google drive allowing for offline playback This app is great but it be cool if u guys could also have features with amazon music.
I mean if u want an app for bass boosted music it here and now u can connect your Spotify or other music accounts. I liked the app until I seen there was very little Apple Music support l. Use to be one of the best free or add on apps. It automatically takes you to the ads download page. Had the app for a while then they changed to this new way! This app boasts a range of features to deliver that edge, including a mind-blowing 3D Surround setting, equalizers and audio intensity effects designed to work with any headphones.
Can you share your thoughts and app experiences with other peoples? Besides contact details, the page also offers a brief overview of the digital toy company. Great app! But it mis alphabetizes all of my Music Libray. With that said, I have used many music Apps trying to find the best one. Last year I purchased the app for the 1 year subscription which expires in a week. Not sure how it would work with music so I came across this app which is free for like 5 days.
Plenty of time to test it. I could tell there was a difference just not sure what. So I was starting to wonder if this was a gimmick after listening to a whole album of one of my favorite bands. I then started to listen to the same album without the Boom effects or app. It definitely sounds more full and it is easier to pick up multiple sounds and voices distinctly. I am using this app with my Beats Solo 3 headphones. On some songs the bass got too heavy for what my headphones could handle so I had to adjust the EQ a bit on some songs but treble is awesome on my headphones so everything else was amazing.
Even better! You will never want to go back to 2D music after using this. I got this app last night to try to find a stop-gap fix for a problem with the highs on my AirPods Pro being too shrill.
First off, I discovered that it forces you to use it as your music app from now on, and the GUI is ugly and rustic. It also scrambled all the artists, albums, and songs, alphabetizing everything individually, making nothing easy to find. So I never even got the free trial to see if it was good or not, in fear of overpaying for something that I could be stuck using for a long time.
Apple should make those one chance only sale buy before you try offers against the App Store rules! This app is pretty amazing with the 3D sound quality. The amplification of sound compared to your usual music app is night and day and BOOM sound reigns superior every time. Making it extremely annoying later, when I want to scroll through my song lists after a bit of not using the app.
WORTH the yearly subscription. I like the sound well enough that I bought it but the iPhone app still has massive problems. The basic controls are not functioning properly. The button to skip backwards to the last song almost never works.
The time readout is never correct, sometimes showing that a song is over an hour long and has timed out at the same time. Also, the sound controls are in at least three different places rather than in one place, and good luck trying to find the set you need when want it. It seems like the developers are more concerned with making the app available to as many streaming services as possible rather than first getting the basic controls down. I have had their Imac version for many years and it took almost three years before they got the glitches out of it.
Listen up!!! I love this app, and I’ll admit there are problems. For example, I’d love it if I could set Boom as the default player for music. For example, if the program is crashing a lot, but you don’t see a lot of reports about crashing from other people, it’s probably an issue with YOUR device.
Additionally, devs usually fix crashing issues pretty quickly if they effect a number of people. To fix a problem like a crash, they have to be able to track down a problem. I’m running Boom on three iOS devices, almost daily, and it’s never crashed on any of my devices. I personally give this app two thumbs up, five stars GOLD stars! I barely ever use the Apple music player at all. I even use Boom when I’m listening in my car, and it makes my music sound richer and more full, even over my stock car speakers.
I like the sounds available with Boom. No issue there. In fact I’d love to have this. However, this BS about who “owns” the music is infuriating. I pay Apple to stream music.
I don’t mind paying as musicians deserve our support. So I’m paying to make it all legit. Yet, there’s another standard applied if I want to take off a bit of the treble on certain mixes. So basically, since I have minimal space to be able to download certain tunes locally, I’ll get to use Boom on the few songs downloaded.
If I’m paying for the rights to listen to artists, I should be afforded the control over how I prefer the desired EQ. I pay the same price to stream it as I do to download it as well. Here it is, and apparently the man behind the curtain is shaking his head “No! I love using Boom! It is the best out there by far with everything it does. I do have a suggestion for the suggestion box. The buttons would be ones that let you move forward and backward about 10 or 15 seconds, and when you tap and hold the forward button, it would act as a speed up play button until you let up off of or to return to regular playback speed.
This would let you be able to more easily jump to portions of a song which are closer together and speed through a portion if you want to just speed through it faster until you get to the part you want. This is just a suggestion, though, as this is still the best out there either way.
This is a great app. Beautiful clean interface. Easy to use and the effects do add new life to your headphones. There are a LOT of optional settings to play around with. Just charge a one time flat fee so we can be done with it. Update: the bass is blowing out my headphones.
The only fix is to turn off effects which defeats the point. Is there a way to dial down the bass a bit more without having to build a custom eq? Overall still a great player though. Prefer the Vibrant and Flat settings. Both have same issue. This app allows me to stream FLAC music from the cloud , which I was pleasantly surprised by however the stream stutters and fails to play the track without multiple pauses.
The only to fix this issue for me is to download the song. VOX Music Player. Unlike VOX, Boom allows for sophisticated 3D audio with all headsets as well as having a lower subscription price.
If the devs could fix this streaming issue they would easily be just as good if not better than VOX. I just purchased the Boom for my iPhone and so far I love it with one huge exception. I obviously use this app in place on the default iPhone music player, so that I can take advantage of the EQ functionality.
So, I get into my car, fire up Boom and start listening to music and everything is fine.. However, occasionally boom will reach a song in my playlist that it claims cannot be EQ’d due to DRM which is fine , so it plays the song anyway just without any EQ functionality – the problem is, whenever that happens, I lose all control to the app, meaning I have no way to control it anymore from my steering wheel buttons.
This requires me to kill the app, and restart it, and everything is fine again. So, this is a really annoying bug, and I hope you can fix it soon! I love Boom. I use it for my desktop and mobile device. Music would not be as good without it! But Boom, whoever is in charge of your push notifications, tell them to put more thought in before they hit send and stop sending so many notifications in general. They are useless messages.
Get going with Boom! What am I supposed to get out of that? Marketing team I assume , make your push notifications informative and useful for your users. Boom 3D with effects is indispensable to me. Now the other items you must have: the Oontz speakers 2 for stereo at a reasonable price and with sound quality unbelievable.
And all portable in a small backpack. I use boom 3D on two iPhones and have the original small Oontz angle for ultra portability when needed. First of all the interface is incredibly clunky not easy to navigate at all. The shuffle is not a true shuffle because the 2nd song is always the very first alphabetical song in my library.
It freezes constantly and the main play screen with the circular artwork is so ugly. Just show me the entire square artwork. When it works, the sound adjustment is amazing but the interface is so so so clunky and there are 3 many bugs with this app. Can somebody please recommend a comparable replacement that actually works? Like the sound. The only issue I have is when selecting an artist, it then shows all the songs in random order instead of first showing an album view within which one can then see the songs.
This is just so basic but quite annoying when you have a lot of music in the iPhone with a lot of artists and most of them with more than just 2 albums. I listen to a lot of coldplay and my iphone speakers get very staticky on some songs. Forces me to carry my Samsung galaxy with me when I can’t use my headphones like when I’m at work. This music player allows me to lower or even turn off the things that are causing static in my speakers so I can enjoy the beautiful music while at work and thus be in a good mood for my customers since our in house radio is dreadful even to the customers.
Thanks dev for giving me back my happiness without forcing me to carry my Samsung just for music. When I get better pay, I’ll get the paid version for sure. Looking forward to helping the devs out. But for now, I’ll lend my support through the praise they deserve. I remember when Boom was starting out and I took a chance on a relatively unknown music playing app.
Thanks for the multitude improvements and for bringing visualization back! Living with music every day of your life, you quickly pick-up the nuances of of sound – the highs, lows and mid-ranges – each have several ranges within themselves and it can be irritating when something is wrong.
The developers are obviously audio freaks as there have been several modifications since the original and each step gets them closer to the wholly grail of perfection. My first bit of advice is delete everything else you use and get this app.
Second, listen wearing high-end, over the ear headsets. Boom makes the music-listening experience immensely more enjoyable. I first purchased Boom on my computer and was eager to get it on my phone when I realized there was a mobile app. Boom’s effect on music is superior when compared to the Apple music app; I can’t stress this enough. In addition to the EQ features, I use the cross-fading feature as well, and can’t get enough of it.
I highly recommend this app to anyone who loves music and wants to elevate their listening experience even more. My only recommendation would to make the queue more editable; like being able to add single songs into the queue at any given time, similar to Apple’s queuing features. Instead of just adding the fabulous equalizer system to my already playlists on my default iPhone which is much more friendly for looking at and more simply.
Thirdly the visualizer is so idiotic Get serious For now it shadows the laptop version but in a bad way! Too bad. The app makes all my songs sound so much better and most importantly it increases bass without sacrificing any of the other frequencies.
I understand this is a problem with Apple and not the Boom developers, but I strongly encourage them to find a workaround to this issue because it basically makes the app incompatible with Apple music users. They make all audio sound amazing. I have two issues with the app though. The first is the design. The second issue is that the equalizer requires a subscription.
I bought Boom 2 for my Macs, and it works great. I like the app but the one thing that I’m a little disappointed about is it doesn’t count the number of plays for a song on the built in iPhone music app, each time a song is finished, the counter adds one to the number of plays.
It adds however many plays for a song to iTunes since the last time you synced your phone with your computer. Alot are excited that Anker crammed five speakers in the plus, but I would almost be willing to bet in a blind test and listen, if the listener had no visuals and never saw these speakers and heard them playing side by side they would probably go with the boom cause it’s a room filler, has low end and just sounds all around fantastic.
Looks – honestly the boom is a little ugly and cheap looking with the plasticy body and fugly handle But, don’t judge a book by its cover. This ugly guy sings. So, the boom is going to go back and forth between my wife’s away location at the spa and location at the gym because it pumps enough where she can use it at the gym when teaching. Ambient music used during yoga seems to use a lot of low end frequencies for meditation.
Also, Im not losing HK go play money on a speaker if someone takes it. Is the boom as good as her HK go play? Is it good enough that it can still get the job done at half what I paid for the go play and still bring a smile to my face. For less than a large bill, look no further. The boom is a mini bumper that sounds amazing. Awesome job, Soundcore. Loved this thing so much I purchased another to go back and forth from garage to pool. Update again: Purchased another.
Also, pairing two of these together puts these speakers in beast mode. Sound linked up together fantastic. If you can, try to catch them on sale when they are each. I love deep, punchy bass but I also value portability and reasonable pricing.
This product delivers on all accounts; seemingly impossibly so. The drivers are tiny but deliver bass that is equal in depth and quantity to the more expensive JBL Xtreme speaker. The Motion Boom gets adequately loud for a small outdoor gathering.
I haven’t tested the battery life yet but even if I get a few hours less than the advertised 24 hours, I’m still winning. Perfect for the beach, backyard or your cool teenager that enjoys modern music. But not a game changer like the Plus. This is another great Bluetooth speaker. But should you buy it? All three are great speakers at a great value. The Boom have longer battery lives and power bank capability inline the motion plus.
Both are about double the size. The motion plus is the audiophile of the bunch supporting AAC and apt x.
The boom and wking both have a slightly louder volume and a deeper bass than the motion plus. Ranked by build quality the motion plus is just much nicer than both others. Followed by the motion boom which feels higher quality and nicer the wking.
Good for Anker skipping the flashing lights on this model. Both the Wking and Motion boom have extra plastic in the case of the side guards and large handle that make them larger than need to be. Honestly the motion plus is still something special, really amongst the best speakers on the market at any price, but if you want something slightly cheaper with slightly more bass and understand you gotta lose some portability.
It really is close between the motion boom and the w-king soundwise, especially after using tuning the Boom via the Anker app to improve the sound by upping the treble slightly. The w-king is cheaper but The boom is better looking, has better waterproofing, better build quality and the Soundcore app allowing firmware updates and custom EQ give it the win over the W-King easily.
By Tyler on December 8, This is a phenomenal speaker. This is a phenomenal speaker, period. Add in the app EQ and you can brighten the sound.
I really like it too. It is much more portable, smaller, and lighter. This speaker checks all of the boxes. Sound is ok but why did they not include the aux port. This would’ve been a good audio amp for outdoor movies, to connect a projector. Also, since this is designed for outdoors an Micro SD card slot should’ve been included you can have music without draining your phones battery.
Yes ithas a charger but it wont make the 24 hrs batt life if you charge something on it. I hope they will come out with an upgraded version with aux port and Micro SD slot. I own alot of anker products. Mostly power packs and chords for cell phones. They are great, therefore I had no worries in ordering this speaker. It goes with me to my dog kennels, plenty of great sound here. I listen to my Christian praise music.
