I understand that whenever you install windows 10 on your computer it gives you Blue Screen error which prevents you from accessing the desktop of your computer. Windows 10 supports i5 – 2nd Generation Processor so it will not be an issue with your computer.

It should still run Windows 10 operating system. Can you tell me exactly what error message shows on the Blue Screen error? Also, can you provide the make and model of your computer? Did you try to perform clean install or upgrade when installing windows 10? Hope this helps, have a good day. Thanks, Orlando Q. Independent Advisor. How satisfied are you with this reply? Base from the error message on the screenshot you’ve attached. Below are the most common ones. Incorrect, outdated, corrupt device drivers. The bluescreen error indicates that there are conflicting drivers installed on your computer which causes incompatibility to Windows There are several ways to correct the issue on your computer but first you need to boot your computer to safemode as its the only environment on your computer where you can perform the troubleshooting steps needed.

To access the advanced option of your computer you can press and hold the power button on your machine for at least 5 seconds. That will shutdown the computer. Do it for at least times and it will trigger the computer to go to repair itself and if computer can’t repair itself it will give you an option to check on advance options.

Once in safemode, please perform the following steps: Method 1: Uninstall problematic drivers. Expand each category one-by-one to find out problematic drivers the ones with yellow exclamation marks beside the name of the devices. Right-click on the device and choose Uninstall. Disable display adapter as well if computer uses intel HD display as it might be one of the reasons why computer shows BSOD. Method 2: Perform Clean Boot Please follow the steps on this link to perform clean boot on your computer to disable conflicting 3rd party application installed on machine.

Method 3: Run full scan of anti-malware program If you have a 3rd party anti-malware program installed on your computer please try to run full scan on it, otherwise please run full scan using Windows Defender.

Method 4: Update drivers for Windows 10 If you didn’t find any problematic driver following method 1. Please update your computer drivers as out dated driver might be causing the issue on your machine. Method 5: Run SFC scan and repair windows image Last step is to run sfc scan and dism scan to repair any system files that might be damage on the computer.

To do that; 1. Open command prompt with administrator access 2. After a few minutes, the process will complete successfully.

Once you complete the steps, the Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool will connect to the Windows Update servers to download and replace any damaged files in the local image for Windows 10 as necessary. After all, restart the computer normally and check if it fixes the issue on your computer.
