Thanks for your repy triplets. Pressing the orange button makes no difference, with that press or not pressed, its the same. Press stop I get reverb, press play, no reverb. Any other idea what it could be? Do you have Auto-Input Monitoring going? Yes I can hear the input signal until I turn down the fader on the logic input channel. In your Logic preferences, uncheck “input only monitoring for focused tracks”.

No that’s not ticked. If I press record, the reverb comes back on, but not when I press play. Perhaps this is just the way Logic works with monitoring. But it seems pretty bizarre, I can’t imagine why would you only want reverb or any aux effect to happen only when you hit record and not during any practice run throughs I have the send to the reverb on pre-fader so that shouldn’t matter. Thanks for your help. First I would check that you can get the behavior you want in a new empty project , and re-check that you can’t get reproduce that same behavior in the current project. If that’s the case then you can use the All File Browser in the empty project to reimport all your tracks at once. Good idea. Thanks for your help!
