Game Description – Toy story 2 buzz lightyear to the rescue pc game download
The player controls the protagonist, Buzz Lightyear, in a three-dimensional world categorized by levels based on the movie that include Andy’s house, Al’s Toy Barn, Al’s penthouse and the airport at the end of the film. Upon completing these tasks, Buzz is rewarded with a Pizza Planet token that allows him to progress to more difficult levels.
Most of the enemies in the game are not seen in the movie excluding some bosses and are placed throughout the levels. Some enemies have different abilities than others which include jumping, flying, firing projectiles, and blocking. Most enemies, if not all, do damage to Buzz on contact. Enemy health is not displayed, aside from boss battles. Buzz is equipped with a few different attacks and powers to defeat enemies and progress through levels and the challenges they bring. Buzz has a basic laser attack that fires a single projectile from his arm that damages the enemy.
Buzz pretty much has your standard moves for a game of this type e. One of the hardest things for designers to implement is the camera control for a 3D game. In TS2, I found this camera to be frustrating — during some sequences in gameplay it worked extremely well but in others it gave me mild motion sickness. You do have the option of having a fixed camera or one that moves around, however neither was entirely successfully implemented. One area where this game exceeds expectations is in the size of the levels — they are huge!
Not Donkey Kong 64 big, but larger than most of the platform games out there today. The graphics are average for a fifth generation N64 game that doesn’t require the expanded memory card.
If you have Mario 64 who doesn’t? The audio in TS2 is okay but nothing that Randy Newman would put on his resume. If you love the movie Toy Story 2 and haven’t played too many of the 3D platform games out there on the N64 then add this title to your library. But for me, this game wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. Hi there. I’m trying to run this classic on my new custom pc but even with fullscreen options enabled, adjusted scaling settings, and anything else it’s always windowed. ME 5 points Windows version.
It tells me at the beginning to “Press Jump” , i pressed every key on my keyboard and nothing happened?!?! Did anyone try this on mac? Says there’s no application that can open it.
